Isn't the library supposed to be quiet?

So, I get in this elevator. As I'm coming down into the library, someone yells out something about a commando. And then, three guys ambush me and start firing bullets like they're going out of style. Needless to say, Sam isn't going to be borrowing any books with these kinds of librarians.

Last night, about 2:42 a.m., the noise outside was a little much. I look out expecting to see the usual suspects. Instead, it's three other partiers outside at a cab. Now, the cab goes to leave the complex and one of the guys (who is obviously drunk) decides to run after the cab. Then, as the cab approaches the exit to the complex, this guy runs right in front of the cab. Brakes go screech. The cab driver gets out and tells the guy off since he nearly ran him over.

Now, you'd think if you nearly got run over by a cab and the cabbie yells at you, you'd learn your lesson and go home and sleep it off. But you weren't the drunk goof.

No, he started swearing at the cabbie. And threatening him. And then his buddies decided to run over to help him out. But the cab driver must have left his radio on because several other taxis showed up and I think a police car came through as well. Twenty minutes of noise because someone doesn't know their limit or when to smarten up. Dumb.

Maybe that's why I don't drink anymore.

It's a beautiful Friday morning here in North Bay. Absolutely beautiful. The sun is out, there isn't a cloud in the sky. Which is probably why I'm not going to stay at the computer and add anything else to the blog.

Enjoy your weekend and be nice to your Mom on Sunday. And Dad, too. And every other day.
