saturday

worked the whole day yesterday. what a great day. the children were perfect, and the staff was great. wish i could teach a lot more there, but they'll have me back soon.

today i learned that i have kept a lot of the skills i haven't used for years. the last time i took technical drafting in school was 1988. i haven't done any since. but today, so that i could build a puzzle box from wood for a friend, i had to create some blueprints. still have the magic touch. they might not be perfect, but they're something i can use to create more stuff from wood.

that, and how to use a mig welder and a lathe, are the only good things i ever got from danforth tech in toronto. that's all, folks.

enjoy your weekend.
