grey cup sunday

i'm happy to say that the toronto argonauts are the 2004 grey cup champions! what a great game. even if it had gone the other way, i'm sure i'd still be able to say it was a great game. congratulations to pinball clemons and the entire team. and there was nobody more deserving than damon allen for the player of the game. i do hope he comes back next year.
saw the polar express last night. out of the four films i saw in theatre this year (the others being shrek 2, harry potter and yu-gi-oh), i'd have to say i was most impressed with this film. the character animation was not as great as they played it up to be (final fantasy: the spirits within had much better animation and was out in 1999), but the story was good. at least the train and the scenery looked good. but the ears on the characters were just wrong.
out of those four films, harry potter was the worst. i liked the first two, but the third one was just awful. yu-gi-oh wasn't much better. shrek 2 just seemed forced. so, the polar express wins this contest.
